Founded by Michelle and Nicole, two passionate AAPI women who met while studying Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology at the University of Washington, our journey from the medical field to beauty entrepreneurship was born out of a shared passion for making a meaningful difference.

Our name, Jasminate, is inspired by both jasmonate, a naturally occurring plant hormone that helps plants heal, protect, and respond to stress, and jasmine, a flower long celebrated for its beauty, grace, and sensuality. This dual inspiration reflects our mission: to create skincare that not only nurtures and protects the skin but also cultivates confidence, elegance, and a sense of inner beauty.
